While we are famous for serving the freshest seafood - fish and chips, baked scrod, sweet Maine clams, New Bedford sea scallops, and wild salmon - we also offer vegetarian options and all natural, free-range chicken and beef.
We buy local! Fruits, vegetables, organic eggs, dairy, berries, beefalo, and shellfish all come from Westport and the surrounding area. We use natural ingredients and no fillers, additives, enhancers or preservatives.
Our quahog chowder and Cole slaw are old family recipes made from scratch.
Our homemade pies are known far and wide for their vibrant flavor and delicate crust. We make old-fashioned Johnny Cakes and Indian pudding using Gray's Grist Mill's (Adamsville, RI) corn meal, just like gram did!
We now have a full liquor license and offer wicked good mixed drinks! We also carry beer and wine and proudly feature award winning Westport Rivers Wines and Buzzards Bay Beers.
The Bayside Restaurant is a socially responsible and environmentally conscious restaurant. We recycle everything; glass, plastic, metal, and cardboard; and we don't use any Styrofoam.
We are the first restaurant in Massachusetts to be certified "Green" by the Green Restaurant Association (dinegreen.com), an organization that qualifies restaurants throughout the country according to their practices with regards to healthy fare and ecological policy.

Welcome to a family owned and operated independent restaurant. We have only one location, but it's beautiful. Overlooking Massachusetts Audubon's Allen's Pond Sanctuary, Buzzard's Bay, and the Elizabethan Islands, the Bayside Restaurant is nourishment for Body and Spirit.
The Bayside Restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily, and breakfast on the weekends.
Seating is available on our outdoor deck as well as in our cozy indoor dining area, both offering spectacular views.

From Route 6 or I-195 East and West-Take 88 South (Horseneck Beach Exit 10). Follow for approximately 10 miles over bridge by Horseneck Beach State Park. At the end of the road, turn left.
